We moved Digital Pragmatism

First of all, all the best for 2023 from us! We wish that this year becomes much better that 2022 was for you, and us all in general.

We decided to move our website and community back from Circle to Substack, and we wanted to explain why.

Digital Pragmatism is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support our work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

🪴 Integration

We can have everything under one roof when using Substack - our website, our podcast, the community - since they allow for commenting under posts. We have our statistics in one place and it’s easier like that.

We also think it might be easier for you, since Substack is pretty popular and maybe you already read some Substact newsletters — ours would be just another in the list to read.

💰 Paid membership

Substack also allows us for structuring a little bit differently how you can support us, if you want. Most of our content is free (Youtube vlogs, podcasts, 90% of the written word), but those of you who decide to subscribe to our newsletter, will receive some extra painfully honest newsletters, filled with our experiences as parents, business-builders and digital pragmatists.

Moreover, if you want, you can support us on Substack by upgrading to a paid membership (billed monthly or yearly) or even a Founder’s tier-super-membership.

If you decide to do that, as a thank you, we’re offering Jerzy’s “Personal Work Organization” online course as a thank you gift for the paid membership. Those of you who purchased it before on Podia or Udemy will of course receive a lifetime paid membership on our Substack for free (we’ll send you a separate email, don’t worry).

Finally, those of you who would want to upgrade to the Founder’s membership will gain the possibility to see us live over Zoom, once per week, as part of a Founder’s Q&A.

🎯 Focus for 2023

After trying our luck with Podia, Beehiiv and Circle, we think that Substack suits best how we want to publish our content and how we want to interact with you. Maybe it also means that we suck at animating an online community? Probably… But we’re not ashamed of that. 🎉

Our focus for 2023 will be more videos on Youtube and more podcasts recorded with guests - we have already a pretty long guest-list, we just need to do the work and invite those people to chat with us. Therefore, we want to be more focused on media production and writing — we will still answer your comments and reply to your emails, we just don’t feel at our place as online community animators.

So, welcome again. Happy 2023 and see you soon!
