Let's talk about Punkt once again and this will not be a positive one. I think that the way they implemented call blocking in the MP02 is really bad. Actually, I think they should change it.

Punkt, please change how call blocking is working.

It works like this: you cannot go in your call list and just click a number that was spamming you and click “block". This is how I would implement it. This is how it is implemented in iOS, in Android and in a lot of other phone systems, but this is not how it works on the Punkt.

Was it an intentional innovation by Punkt?

Maybe they wanted to force you to be intentionally analog when adding a call to the block list? Because, if you want to block a number on the MP02, you have to actually:

  • go to the calls list,

  • write down the spammy number on a paper, then

  • go into settings > calls > blocked numbers, and then

  • enter this number there.

And you cannot copy it inside of the phone. There’s no way to do it. So you have to basically to write it down somewhere on a piece of paper, since, you know — if you are using a Punkt MP02, you are probably also using a notepad, and maybe even a fountain pen?

I live in Poland and Poland is plagued by unsolicited sales calls, especially if you are a business owner, since your phone number is then publicly accessible in some kind of a Polish register of companies. The number of sales calls I am receiving about a lot of stuff is crazy. I actually block every one of them because it makes the number of those calls go down with time.

It's not comfortable right now to block those unsolicited sales calls on a Punkt. They should release a firmware update that would make it easier.
