Podcasting rules

As we delve deeper into the digital age, the way we consume and create media is constantly evolving. Podcasting, in particular, has seen a surge in popularity in recent years. Recognizing this trend, we have decided to focus more heavily on podcasting and less on other forms of media. This doesn't mean we will abandon video entirely, however. In fact, our podcasts are also videos that we publish to YouTube. The reason for this is simple: we want to grow our channel and reach as many people as possible.

YouTube is discoverability

YouTube, in particular, serves as a means of discovery for our podcast. The audience that discovers us through YouTube may be different from the audience that subscribes to our podcast RSS feed. Having both channels is crucial for reaching a wider audience and making it easier for people to find and enjoy our content.

Episode template

In order to make our podcast more structured and consistent, we have decided to implement a template for our episodes. The template will consist of several sections, including:

  • minimal news,

  • a family chronicle,

  • a futurist corner, and

  • a topic of the week.

The minimal news section will provide our take on the news that reached us during the week, even if we are off social media and don't consume news. The family chronicle will consist of updates on what has happened in our family that we would like to share. The futurist corner will feature our thoughts on what will be important in the future and our plans related to that future. And finally, the topic of the week will discuss important ideas and thoughts related to our channel's main theme.

Investment in quality

In addition to podcasting, we will also invest in our YouTube production. We aim to have one podcast episode and one vlog per week, with the possibility of more. We also plan to publish some of our content in text form, but it will not be a transcription of our podcast. We want to differentiate ourselves from others. Besides that, a podcast is a conversation that is meant to be heard, not read. But for those who prefer reading, we will publish some of our key takeaways and insights in written form, so that you can still benefit from the content without having to listen to the entire episode.

One of the main goals of our podcast is to offer a unique perspective on the digital world. We aim to be a voice of reason in a sea of noise, providing thoughtful and insightful commentary on the most pressing issues facing our digital lives. By focusing on podcasting, we believe that we can create a deeper connection with our listeners and offer them a more immersive experience.

We also believe that podcasting is the perfect medium for our message. Podcasts allow us to be more conversational and personal than other forms of media. With this in mind, we are committed to creating high-quality, engaging content that will inspire, inform, and entertain our listeners.

So if you're looking for a fresh perspective on the digital world, and a community of like-minded individuals who share your passion for technology and the future, then be sure to tune in to our podcast. We're excited to share our thoughts and ideas with you, and we can't wait to hear what you think.
