It is clear that Mr. Beast, with his massive audience and influence, has the power to shape the world in which we live. And while his decision to open a burger joint may seem insignificant, it is important to consider the impact that such a choice can have on our society.

The fact that Mr. Beast chose to open yet another fast-food restaurant in an already saturated market is weird. Such an endeavor could have provided an opportunity to combat the obesity epidemic and poor diets in a multitude of ways. For instance, he could have opened a restaurant that served healthy and locally sourced food. The possibilities are endless. Unfortunately, this Mr. Beast’s decision will contribute very little to improving our food environment.

As I mentioned earlier, the United States is plagued with bad eating habits and poor nutrition. And while burgers may be a popular choice, they are not the healthiest option. By perpetuating these bad habits, Mr. Beast is missing an opportunity to promote a better type of cuisine, something that would not only benefit his customers, but also help to change the status quo.

Power and responsibility

It is important to remember that those with large audiences, like Mr. Beast, have a responsibility to think about the influence they have on the world around them. Instead of simply making burgers because they are popular, he could have chosen to promote a healthier, more diverse type of cuisine.

In doing so, Mr. Beast could have become a part of the solution instead of being yet another part of the problem.

To be fair…

Adam, one of my viewers, pointed out that Mr. Beast is also a philanthropic powerhouse, running his own food bank and funding others during the pandemic. He also noted that Mr. Beast's decision to open a virtual kitchen and work with existing restaurants was a positive move during a difficult time.

However, as Adam also pointed out, once Mr. Beast decided to move towards standalone physical locations, a revamp of the menu was necessary. The quality of the food is not good, and it is unfortunate that an opportunity was missed to change things for the better.

I hope that Mr. Beast will take this feedback to heart and consider the impact that his choices have on the world. With his platform and influence, he has the power to shape the way we think about food, and it would be a shame to squander that opportunity.
